BIG prints "8 line" high BLOCK letters using a matrix made up of normal sized characters.

BIG allows you to select any character that you like for the matrix, standard or graphics so long as the printer you are using can reconize it.

BIG allows you to send preselected FONT codes to the printer just ahead of each message and changes them back to normal when using F8 to exit to the main Menu.

This program originally appeared in our Library as "BIG100" though it never ran for someone put it through a bug-a-boo squasher and it got pretty screwed up, however it was still some what readable so I set about making it run. I turned over my first revision to Paul Perry in August of 87 and informed him that the optional printer commands did not work properly at that point, yet it's in our Library as BPRINT and has gone through Ricks squasher but from what I can tell the printer commands haven't been fixed so I got out my original copy for it's much easier to read and put the printer commands in working order while making still more modifications. The original program requried a lot of keystorkes to get through the instructions for each function and at every step of the way. Well, I cut that down to a minimum and installed a pause to read timer which can be found in line 87 and change to suit your reading speed. This copy is easy to read and understand for I have spent many, many hours line editing and renumering to accomplish this and it is my sincere hope that it WILL NOT be put through any squasher again.
