Club 100 Library - 415/939-1246 BBS 937-5039 NEWSLETTER, 932-8856 VOICE These programs produce posters on your printer in the character mode. They are 5 lines by 3 or 4 spaces large. A dummy character is read into the matrix when it is less than 4 wide. This is 127 on the Tandy and 20 on the Citizen. You must type in each line as it's working. Elite, condensed, vertically enlarged, all work if you just send the codes first from BASIC. The Epson version requires your printer to have user-definable characters. The 'prepos' program does this, allowing the 'newpos' program to print the Tandy style extended character set on another printer. It is written for a Citizen 120-D. The border portion of this program just makes a little design around the edge of your poster. Edit the values to change its sizes. The Tandy version has a feature that causes the DMP-105 to doublestrike. This can be changed if desired by removing the for-next loop that works twice in the printing stage. It's simpler with the Citizen 120-D, for just a code does this. One could surely polish the letters up some, making the A's, V's, N's, etc. look nicer, but it takes much more program work.
