TRANSFERING FILES BETWEEN THE T-100/102/200 * HARDWARE: RS-232C D-25 ports (located on the back of the computers) Null Modem (Radio Shack part #26-1496, $4.95 RS-232C cable (connect the computers through the null modem) TRANSFERING A DOCUMENT: RECEIVING COMPUTER (do first): Enter the file to be received (probably an empty file at this point) [F2] COM:97E1E SENDING COMPUTER (do second): Enter the file to be sent [F3] COM:97E1E CHANGING A BASIC PROGRAM IN RAM TO A DOCUMENT SO YOU CAN TRANSFER AS ABOVE: SENDING COMPUTER: Enter BASIC LOAD"program" SAVE"program.DO" [F8] (to exit BASIC) Now transfer the document to the other computer as above RECEIVING COMPUTER AFTER THE DOCUMENT IS RECEIVED: Make sure the received document is in RAM and unchanged Enter BASIC LOAD"program.DO" SAVE"program" (program.BA now appears in your main menu) * For the T-200 substitute 97E1ENI for 97E1E. To transfer files to/from other computers, simply match the communications parameters to: 19200 BAUD (use 37E1E for 300 BAUD) 7-bit word Even parity One stop bit Enable handshake See your TELCOM manual to change the parameters if necessary.
