CIS132.BA was thrown together after I had trouble uploading some textual material to CIS. It seems I was violating the CIS buffer limit of 132 characters. Now, I can upload files to CIS with confidence that lines will be in the bounds of the buffer limit. CIS132.BA also will allow the user to put space between the lines of the file. This can be done by simply pressing ENTER between entries of text. If you see "0 characters" at the top of the screen, you'll know that space has been entered in CIS132.DO Cut and paste the program below the dotted line and place it a .DO file. Run the .DO file through BASIC and save it as CIS132.BA ...................................... 0 REM CIS132.BA BY CARMEN PAONE [72677,42] 1 CLS:MAXFILES=1:F$="CIS132.DO":OPENF$FORAPPENDAS1:RV$=CHR$(27)+"p":NV$=CHR$(27)+"q" 2 PRINT@90,RV$" ENTER DATA "NV$:PRINT:LINEINPUTA$:L=LEN(A$) 3 PRINT@90,RV$L" CHARACTERS"NV$:IFLEN(A$)>130THENSOUND10000,100:GOTO5 4 PRINT#1,A$:FORT=1TO999:NEXT:GOTO6 5 CLS:PRINT@285,RV$" LINE TOO LONG.
