PDSKRD.100  Power-Disk for use with RAMDSK.CO and the Node RAMpac or DataPac.


RAMDSK.CO, the operating system program for the Node products is written and
copyrighted by Paul Globman.  Power-Disk is copyrighted by Acroatix, Inc., and
other versions are available in Library 9; see PDSK01.200 for additional
information.


The Node RAMpac is designed primarily for use with the 102 and 200, although
it is possible to construct an adapter cable so the RAMpac can be plugged into
the system buss of a Model 100.  This file assumes you are using a 102.

Once you have downloaded this file, and saved it to your external storage
device, print a copy so you have the instructions handy.  Use cut and paste,
(F7-F6) to delete the instructions from the top of the file, leaving only the
hex code, and no blank lines at the top of the file.  Rename the file to
PD-102.DO.
Use HEX2CO.100 from Library 8 to convert the below hex file into a runnable .CO
program. (Read HEX2CO.DOC, also in Lib. 8)  Download and read the Power-Disk
manual files in order to most effectively use this DOS.  Recommended files are
PDSKM1.DOC, PDSKM2.DOC, PDSKM3,DOC, PDSKM4.DOC, PDSKM5.DOC, PDSKM6,DOC and
PDSKM7.DOC, all in Library 9.

After converting to PD-102.CO, with RAMDSK.CO loaded and active, HIMEM will be
set at 61681 for RAMDSK.CO, go into BASIC and type: CLEAR 256,59569 and press
the ENTER key.  Then type: LOADM"PD-102 and press the ENTER key.  Then type:
CALL 59569 and press the ENTER key.  Power-Disk will now be loaded and active.
You can connect your TDD to the RS-232 port, and use all the direct Power-Disk
DOS commands to access disk files without disturbing RAMDSK.CO.

To recover the RAM space used to store the image file(s) of Power-Disk, you
can Kill PD-102.DO, PD-102.CO, and HEX2CO.BA.  Power-Disk is very solid, and
you won't need any of these three files again unless you need to reload the
entire software package.

Here is the hex code.  Delete everything prior to the first line before using
HEX2CO to convert the file into the .CO version.
